This one time, when I was in the Navy, we had some Marines over playing a pen and paper role playing game (RPG). Shadowrun if anyone is curious... And they said there was no way my character could conceal a carbine under a raincoat. So I went into my room, slung my CAR-15 on my shoulder, put my raincoat on over that, and walked back out into the living room. I asked the Marines if they could tell if I was carrying any gun at all. They said that there was no way I could be carrying anything other than a handgun... They were shocked when I showed them the truth. There were no more complaints that my character couldn't do what I'd just demonstrated was easily possible, with an appropriate "assault raincoat" from the local department store... NFA is nothing but a blight on our freedoms. Period. Heh…
