You know why you don’t see Coasties making videos like this? Because we’re too busy rescuing Navy guys that can’t handle a little rough weather.

I did laugh though.

    JOs. Sheesh.

    Go Navy!

Of course, if you really liked rough weather, you wouldn’t have joined the Puddle Pirates, who never go places like the North Atlantic in the winter. Cutters aren’t designed for that sort of 60 foot blue water “chop”.

A further thought: where were these knuckleheads’ Chiefs when they needed them most? If there were ever some JOs in need of remedial Chiefly training, these are the ones.

Someone should probably tell those 210s and 270s that patrol the Northern Atlantic during winter that the water is “too rough” for them.

So do all Navy boats come with Auto-Tune as standard equipment?

Guess somebody in his chain of command didn’t think it was too funny.

so what was the basic gist of the video?

The video proclaimed the glories of the Navy. How they do all the work to keep the Republic safe and have won every war for us since the Revolution.

Well, since the Marines aren’t much good without a ride to the conflict, there’s truth to that.

Laughingdog – basically, a couple of JOs with too much free time did a naval version of Lonely Island’s “I”m on A Boat” video.
