The new Glock 1911, which I believe will break from Glock’s usual naming convention and go with G1911 as the name.

Sourced from here.  I can’t wait for this gun to tear a hole in the fabric of space-time!

You can put me in the “no way in Hell is that real” camp.

    That’s a pretty decent ‘shop.

I thought so. The only part that doesn’t look right is the logo on the grip. I’ve been looking for the original pic but can’t find it.

It is an EXCELLENT ‘shop. I’ve actually seen the source image from SHOT, but that’s a really, really, really good ‘shop.

But what if? This would be cool. Wonder if Glock ever did turn out a 1911what they might do to it engineering wise.

being a fan of both The Big G, and JMB, I’ll admit I cried just a little at that pic…

This doesn’t have to be a Photoshop. I need to talk with my gunsmith about a custom slide and grips for an all black 1911. Cool idea.

You know how I know its fake? It says Glock on it.

I don’t want one unless it’s ceramic like real Glocks so I can go through metal detectors.

Yeah but then it’ll cost more than the Chief of the Dulles International Airport Police makes in a month.

If Glock produced a 1911 would that be like the Ghostbusters crossing the stream of their Proton device? Every molecule in our bodies would cease to exist, right? Or, would it be something mild like one of the seals being broken for the apocalypse? Just curious.

It might be real…..after all, every other company that enters the 1911 market in order to “revolutionize” it always starts with a full-size, steel-frame, 5″bbl., .45ACP…..just like everyone else does…..[rolleyes]…..

If Glock made one, it wouldn’t be that nice. Just look at the sights on that 1911 compared to sights in a normal Glock.

I would love to see Glock use plastic frames and high cao mags on a 1911. I would be interested is that.

I’d just love a pair of grips like that so I could slap them on my Springfield Operator to see if anyone would even notice.

Looks like another Glock I’ll be adding to my collection!
