Kilted to Kick Cancer update

I am truly touched by my readers out there; you’ve donated almost $600 to the Kilted to Kick Cancer Fundraiser in just 72 hours. If that’s not awesome, I don’t know what is. So I’m going to sweeten the pot a little bit to push us over that $1000 mark (click here to donate to Livestrong).

If we hit the $1000 mark, I will shoot the 2012 Bianchi Cup in a kilt. But wait, there’s more! For every “X” I shoot at the Bianchi Cup in 2012, I’ll donate $2.00 to Livestrong. Since I average about 100 X’s per match, that’s $200 extra dollars to Livestrong. All you have to do is donate and push us over that $1k mark.

But there’s more: any prizes that I may win as part of the fundraiser challenge will be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to Livestrong as well. If I win the pistol class, I’ll donate the cost of the class to Livestrong. So click here to donate to Livestrong.

And finally, here’s one more thing – if by some miracle we crack the $2,000 barrier, I will shoot the entire 2012 Major Match season in a kilt. That’s right, I will go kilted for an entire match season if the readers of Gun Nuts Media can donate over $2,000 to Livestrong. I’ll even put my own money on the line – if we go over $2,000, not only will I wear a kilt for an entire shooting season, but for every Top 3 finish at a major match, I’ll donate $200 to Livestrong. So bring on those donations, and let’s get me in a kilt for the 2012 shooting season!

    I’m trying to think just how much that would interfere… I’ve definitely caught a throwing axe on my kilt before, so it is different.
